I love this scene more than anything, this anime is amazing because it does what anime almost never does; gives you a set of characters who interact with one another like real humans, and you don't feel as though the characters have any plot armor, I truly thought all three main characters had the potential to perish at any point in the series. It's what made One Piece so great in the beginning. Just some knucklehead kid Destined to overcome adversity; it fell off after the FIshman ark.

This is why i stopped watching this. Its all women, all lesbians, no dracula, no alucard, no memorable Castlevania protagonists. This show started weak and ended embarrassing, just like the actual games.

Maybe its the perspective of a vampire, powerful Immortal that they take Vengeance to the extreme, Carmilla was injured/degraded by a powerful old man so she is going to take the world from powerful men. Dracula had his wife executed by religious zealots so hes going to wipe out an entire species in revenge.

This version of death looks weirdly similiar to [Volition] from Disco Elysium. He even behaves like a character from that game xD

I don’t think it’s fair to call this captain someone with a big ego or think “theyre the protagonist”. He sees a group of demons that have recently been tormenting the city lead by a dude known to be Dracula’s subordinate. And stands on business like a chad 🗿 Isaac also most definitely orchestrated these events so that he could force a fight.

Great show, I didn’t expect it to make me so sympathetic to Dracula and his genocidal servant.

He didn't go to Hell because he was a philosopher, nor because he questioned God. He went to Hell because he betrayed other philosophers, his comrades, in hopes that he may live. And so, he was too, betrayed, as he betrayed others. The face Issac makes, he realizes that the people who are punished to Hell are not innocent. That these people were in Hell for a reason. And now he's surrounded by them, as his armada of undead, for him to lead.
